Intro

Welcome to the Winter Fantasy League hosted by me (Duck), FI_Demon and LaPache.

After a community vote, the majority voted for a Fantasy League so here you go cunts   

Going to go without a tier system so that I don't have to put you all to shame by making a seperate top tier just for god_of_archers

 

 

Rules

Tournament Format (Click to Show)

-There will be two stages, the first will be 2 groups of teams participating in a league style format. The second will be knockout stages of the top two teams from each group.

- There will be 1 match a week which will be given a week in advance and consequences for clans who do not manage to play out their matches on time. (There will be break/extended time allowance for matches over Xmas)

- Scoring will be done by wins/draws/losses, and rounds won will be used as tie breakers. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.

- The group stages will consist of two groups. Each clan will play the other clans in their group once and the top two clans from both groups will advance to the final stages.

- Final Stages will be knockout, top clan will play 2nd place from the other group and winners will go onto the final, losers will play a 3rd place match.

 

Bidding Rules (Click to Show)

- All Captains will start with a budget of £30,000,000 you are not allowed to spend over that amount.
- Captains will be called out one by one to say who they will bid for then the other Captains will get the chance to bid against said Captain for the player in question.

 

Roster Rules (Click to Show)

- Teams will be a maximum of 13, with 10 teams
- This is a tournament for all players.
- All players that play for a team, must be signed up to the event.
- Teams will have captains. The captains will be considered the team’s contact.
​- It will be the responsibility of captains to organise their teams and matches.
- Team captains have to ensure every player of their team who turns up must get to play at least 1 FULL set
- Trades are allowed to happen throughout the tournament
- Players who have been removed from the tournament will not be eligible for trade.
- Multi teaming is not allowed and any players caught multi teaming will be removed from the tournament and money given back to the captains.

- Captains may not buy more than 3 people from their own clan but may trade for more another time.

 

Server Rules (Click to Show)

- Matches will be played on unknown servers and screenshots need to be taken at the end of every set
- If screenshots are not provided then the other clan will have to confirm the score.
- If a referee is present, screenshots will not be needed, as long as the referee confirms
-Teams may protest about spectators that are not in either team

 

Captain Rules (Click to Show)

- Captains are responsible for picking and organising their teams, arranging matches and handling disputes concerning their team.

 

Scheduling Rules (Click to Show)

- Captains will be responsible for posting the date and time of their match, 24 hours before it begins.
Captains must try and make sure as many players are able to attend as possible

 

Match Rules (Click to Show)

- Matches will be played in 8v8 if a team cant field 8 they can play with less if they wish, teams may also play more than 8 if the other team agrees.
- The maps for that week will be picked in advance, one closed, one open.
- Clans have until 15 mins past the booked time to turn up with at least 6 players otherwise a default win can be given. - If both clans agree the amount of players on the field can increase up to a maximum of 10 v 10.
- If you are unable to field 6 or more members, or agree to a certain number of players and you become unable to field that number of players the opposition does not have to drop down to match your teams numbers.
- Matches will be played in a FT3 format with 4 sets over 2 maps. After a clan has won 3 rounds the set will be over and sides switched. After 2 sets the map will be changed to the second picked map and the last 2 sets played the same.
The following server settings have to be used during official matches: Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire: %100, Round Time: 180 seconds, Game Type: Battle, Respawn time: 8 seconds, Camera: team member’s view.
- Resets will only be allowed in the first rounds of each set within 30 seconds as long as no engagement has happened.
- There is a maximum of one horse ranged per team.

- You may not change players mid set however you can have players who are playing change their class

 

Behaviour Rules (Click to Show)

​- Players that attempt to use any game modification such as autoblock or aimbot will be immediately banned from the tournament. Crosshair changes are allowed.
- Players that are extensively toxic in their games will also be removed from the tournament. Yes trash talking and banter will be allowed but it should not escalate.

 

Cheating (Click to Show)

- It is strictly prohibited to gain an advantage by modifying texture files or using game modifications such as aimbots or autoblock.
Every player that is found to have modified texture files or using game modifications will be suspended from the tournament. (Does not include modified crosshair)
- When requested by the match referee players must take a screenshot of their game view while holding any kind of ranged weapon or, if they have no ranged weapon, their melee weapon, spear or lance.
Players must ensure the screenshot contains the referee message, the scoreboard and buildings or players. Concerned players must post their screenshot within 30 minutes of the match ending on the forums or send it to a tournament administrator or the match referee.
Failing to comply with any part of this rule will result in a 1 match ban for that player.
- If a player is found to have broken any of the rules during a match and the admins determine that a significant advantage was gained, that player's team will forfeit the relevant rounds.

Anyone can sign up to be captain but we won't necessarily pick the first 8 people to sign up, we'll be trying to pick people who will be reliable. 

 

Sign ups end 03/12/20 at 12pm, bidding will be done on the Friday evening the day after so all captains should be available
