And after 2k hours spent in this god forgiven mod, i got some clue about the mod, Joshua. You keep whining about maps, i'll whine about 9 archers in one team who can kill anything in seconds, and yes, "use a shield bla bla" argument is a bs
It's both to be honest. The mod lacks balance (class limits), the maps lack balance (one team having favourable camping spots that turn Eu1 maps into Eu2)and the community is cancer, like on every Warband mod and/or DLC I have ever played. (NW, PW/PK, cRPG, Mercs, Bear Force, you name it)
Scenes that have elevated positions that can only be reached by one stairway is just a no go. Having huge scenes with mountains that anyone can get on top of does not really work either. Native doesn't have it (multiplayer) so it still confuses me why someone decided that it would work for mercs.
Granted, some scenes are fairly small so it doesn't really matter, but some of the scenes out there are practically asking for players to abuse them.
You obviously can't take away all issues that this community provides, but you sure as hell can limit them by using the right map size, concept, invisible walls (but only when used properly at logical positions), etc.
