I have a better idea, how about that we add a roll when the flag is about to spawn, that there is a 50% chance that instead of a flag spawn, all archers get slayed?

Just block or remove the staircases to get up on the maps where people mostly camp, also make invisible walls on the stupid mountain maps that people love to run up and chill there till they are last alive :)

Tbh, maps won't change shit, because it's the cancerous player community that comes up with annoying tactics/builds and etc. Right now we whine about shit ton of archers which camp all around the map and kite to the point where players following them just throw their keyboards into the wall and go away, but changing maps won't change shit. Amount of cheaters got way higher recently, amount of faggots using annoying builds got way higher. Quit this game while you still can imo

you clearly have no clue about the game lol....mod is providing unbalanced maps and thats the main issue

It's both to be honest. The mod lacks balance (class limits), the maps lack balance (one team having favourable camping spots that turn Eu1 maps into Eu2)and the community is cancer, like on every Warband mod and/or DLC I have ever played. (NW, PW/PK, cRPG, Mercs, Bear Force, you name it)

 

Scenes that have elevated positions that can only be reached by one stairway is just a no go. Having huge scenes with mountains that anyone can get on top of does not really work either. Native doesn't have it (multiplayer) so it still confuses me why someone decided that it would work for mercs.

 

Granted, some scenes are fairly small so it doesn't really matter, but some of the scenes out there are practically asking for players to abuse them.

You obviously can't take away all issues that this community provides, but you sure as hell can limit them by using the right map size, concept, invisible walls (but only when used properly at logical positions), etc.

Im telling you, create the best, most balanced maps ever achievable and the game will still be cancerous due to tactics that the players will come up with. Guess the only way to prove this is to wait until maps get reworked (hopefully) and see
