114 years ago, in the year 1257, the kingdom of Swadia was led by King Harlaus. Lady Isolla of Suno was still trying to overthrow King Harlaus, since he took her rightfull place in the halls of Praven, as Queen of Swadia. She managed to gather a small warband, when King Harlaus decided she was a threat to his vision of the Swadian Kingdom. The Royal army and the small warband met not far from Lyindah, in the year 1259. The battle took only 30 minutes, and all defenders were slaughtered, but Lady Isolla of Suno. She was captured and tortured in the dungeons of Praven, showing King Harlaus' merciless dark side to the world. In a public execution she was beheaded naked. But this wouldn't be unavenged. Some in the Kingdom of Swadia had formed an alliance against the old and mad king, swearing an oath to avenge Lady Isolla of Suno and free the people of this proud kingdom. The rebellion was led by Danton of Suno, Isolla's forgotten son. Noone but his mother knew his father, but the legends say he was the best of warriors. He had to hide in the woods during the early stages of his rebellion, were he learned the use of bows in combat, and their value on the battlefield. Gaining the trust of the local bandits, he earned fame and renown. Not much later, he started to raise a small army of veteran warriors, and gathered the support of King Harlaus' most loyal lords, who love Swadia more then its corrupted leader. And when the inevitable happened, in the year of 1276, the 2 armies collided on the hills near Praven. Danton, a master tactician, placed his defensive line of trained footmen on the smallest patch of land between a forest and the cliffs of Praven, and placed his longbowmen behind them, hidden in the shieldwalls. Since he lacked cavalry, he chose the field of battle well. The battlefield was made of rolling hills, without an inch of flat terrain. King Harlaus sent his knight forward, using his normal tactic, and expecting them to charge through the shieldwall. The hidden longbowmen however, virtually slaughtered the knights before they even reached the shieldwalls. The next year, Praven was controlled by Danton, and King Harlaus the mad had died, beheaded in public. Danton didn't enjoy his victory for long however, since he was poisoned by King Harlaus' servants 2 days later. After this day, the kingdom of Swadia was put into a dark period, called "The nightmare" when civil war broke out, self-proclaimed kings rose and fell, and when Eastern Swadia got conquered by the Nords, preying on the once mighty kingdom. But, in the year of 1342, Datura, a descendant from Lady Isolla of Suno herself, gathered his most loyal knights in Tevarin castle, and formed a knightly order, sworn to protect that what was left of Swadia. Those knights names were Roran, a foreign knight, Assassin, a knight from a far away land called Roma. In 1351, they had achieved their first golrious victory. The 3th great Nord invasion, targeting the West-Coast of Swadia had begun. After 11 years of hard and bloody battles, the Nords retreated, giving up their assault, and peace returned to Swadia once again. After uniting the rests of Swadia, which had only become a province by now, because the people despised the name, due to the facts of the past. In the year of 1363 Dature passed the leadership to once of his first knights, Assassin. He decided to study the science of nature, since he despised violence, a true pascifist. When Assassin left Calradia and returned to his homelands to protect them from "The Invasion", Roran, the other first knight became the leader, and was Grandmaster for many years. After turbulent times and frequent wars, the might of the Order grew weak. Grandmaster Roran was sick, and being drawn into family matters, and a new grandmaster rose. Grandmaster Tywin led the Order of the RoseCroix to glory again. After a relatively long rule, a war broke out between the Order and the Gnni Republic. The war was a loss for both sides, as civil war broke out in Gnni shortly after, and RoseCroix was severely weakened. Tywin, harassed by the public, hated by his enemies and stepped down for the good of the Order. He now continues to serve under the arm or Grandmaster Roran, who has faithfully helped Grandmaster Tywin as his right hand as soon as he had returned, and now Tywin fulfills the same work Roran used to do.
After a long and solid rule of Roran, he became too old and wise to control the Order, and therefor gave the leadership to his trusted Weaponmaster, Apophis. Roran, is a Council Member, especially appointed by Apophis.
Grandmaster Apophis is the first Grandmaster to move its quarters to Dhirim, and shall be the only one, until he dies or ascends.
Years after, the Order gets betrayed by it's most loyal soldiers, the Order has fallen. The BitterSteel company has been created, that had it's glory but has fallen. When the Stormcrows were at their peak, a Serjeant, Aether, decided to revive the old almighty Order with his fellow men-at-arms. This Order will take back the theme of the first Grandmaster, Datura. Almighty, great and honourable. However this Order will remain non-competitive, at least for the upcoming days.
Aether's reign didn't last long, he stepped down for having personal problems with depression and gave the rule to his most trusted friend, Arcan. He will rule the Order until Aether asks for the rule back or the Order vanishes into dark days once again. After a time where the Order gained back his old honour and might, under Arcan's command, the original leader, the man who enstabilished the Order on Calradia for the first time, Datura, is back. Grandmaster Arcann and the whole order decided to give back the throne to the rightful leader, hoping in a future even more brighter than every past one!
Datura's rule lasted shorter than a day, he refused to lead the Order and has left what he has called 'Nothing'. He, Datura, is now the enemy of the Order and shall remain so, for this betrayal shall be remembered forever. Arcan sits back on the throne...his rightful rule is back.
Arcan departs to Italy for personal reasons and hands over the leadership to Igor, who struggles to keep the order alive at it's crumbling point. Months pass. The order remains alive, barely. Arcan returns and joins the order once again as the Grandmaster.
After years the Order has been awaken again, by the same Grandmaster that put it into a deep sleep, Arcan is back.
With Arcan's return many of his fellow knights mounted on top of their horses once again to ride alongside him.
The knights fought several battles, and slaughtered several enemies, but they were few... Some of them died in battles, some of them retired and the Order was falling again... Arcan and some of his remaining knights was trying to keep the Order alive. Remus got on his horse and rode around the Order's villages and towns to search for recruits, he found a few old faces who once were fighting for the two-rosed banner and it kept the Order alive. But when Remus had arrived in Dhirim, he didn't find Arcan. Noone knew what happened to him. Days went and the knights decided to start the search for their GrandMaster. After 7 days Tamas found Arcan in Tshibtin. The GrandMaster looked vastly different. He was inflected by a disease. He wasn't able to fight anymore. Tamas who always praised Arcann wanted to keep the GrandMaster in his place, but it didn't work... The Order was near death again, but then the Grandmaster decided the give over the leadership once again. His fellow Weaponmaster Tamas became the new Grandmaster and the Order started to get it's old shape and glory back!
