Our Minister of Defence is a deserter. Refused to serve in the army back in 1991 due for him having the "too large diopters". Of course, traitor doesnt even use glasses in the first place. Politics, ladies and gentlemen.

Decided to read about her to see if she's ever addressed the fact she's not the best model for health and turns out she was basically like "Yeah I know, but I do a good job at least". Found it really interesting she's a qualified medical professional too - most UK ministers are spat out of Eton or Harrow with an education in finance, the classics or politics so the unelected House of Lords operates as the knowledge base as it consists of professionals and successful business leaders (Probably why they submitted so many amendments to the Brexit bill). Being able to enact and create policy is important but I think practical experience should play a significant part, it's why all trade unions use a wide array of representatives who have experience to lead on certain issues, for example a BAEM (Black, Asian and Ethnic Minorities) officer who leads the same-titled campaign.

Obesity's such a big problem in the more developed parts of the world, and it's a mix of cheap readily available junk food and a societal attitude which doesn't always recognise the fact that sugar is addictive. Switzerland is one of the least obese countries in Europe and I reckon military service and the terrain they live in has a big part to play. Really interesting to think about!

In other news, has anyone played the Skryim special edition? I didn't even know I had it until I noticed it had been downloaded. Looks amazing.

Why the fuck would you buy the Special Edition? Just download the graphic mods there you go

Like srsly there is really no reason to waste 40 euros just cuz it got "remasterd"

I didn't buy it, I got it free because I have the legendary edition. I'm pretty sick of Skyrim myself, played it to death and don't find much fun in it anymore, but the graphics update is great, though it's the in-game mod workshop they introduced with this that I think is the most interesting thing. You're right that's the graphic update isn't really worth it though, I suppose the name Skyrim is enough to get people to buy it, just look at the huge amount of merchandise the game has sold. Fans will be fans!

She wouldn't be as efficient as a minister if she would spend time on her own health and body. Professional coaches are also usually skinny/fat cause they spend time teaching others rather than working on their own body
