Well basically when it comes to online activity i am very, very lazy. So i can only very rarely gather enough motivation to do a Quate Contest. But we may have one soon.

Honestly,if you aren't joking then i do agree with you.There is something crazy going on with these people.While Russia is absolutely disgusting as a country,its people are very amazing.They are smart,talented and very kind.I was born and live among Russians,but i can't figure out how does their mentality work and where does it come from

Aye, Russia got a great practical sense about them. Oh, you dont want want people crossing the border? Build a big fucking fence. A lot easier than patrolling it and having to deal with shitty tourists

I'd like to bring some foreign attention to "probably the most up-to-par with modern standards" movie the Latvian cinema industry has ever produced. I believe it's called The Pagan King outside of Latvia, while here it's Namejs' Ring. It's set in the 13th century and follows the rule of Namejs, a young king of the Semigallian people after his father is poisoned. He fought to defend his land against the crusaders of Rome and his struggle is depicted in this movie. The tale of Namejs is very popular in Latvian folklore. Now, for the historyfags - the producers have said that it isn't historically accurate since it follows a legend, and has very little historical basis regarding the actual existence of Namejs. The cast is international - mostly Latvian actors, however the main role of Namejs is portrayed by Edvin Endre who played Erlendur in Vikings, including a couple of others. It will premiere in a few days, and this is the first actual Latvian movie I have hope in, since Latvian cinema is crap when it comes to this large of a scale. I am pretty sure it will have flaws and won't be as good as a "traditional" movie would be, English voices are also dubbed in some places from what I can tell from the trailer,  but I'd still like to shed some foreign light on it and give it some love. It's pretty much the first project that attempts to make Latvian folklore appeal to a foreign mainstream audience ever.

We serbs had something similar, tv series called "Nemanjici". Turns out that it's total disaster.
