The maps were released more than two weeks ago and many players already saw them. What do you think about those maps? If you think there are certain problems that can be fixed, please describe them.

I like sandstorm. Forest arena however... In my opinion, it doesn't fit battle. People run to the tunnels every time, and rounds last long. Flags won't spawn, since the tunnels are so close to the arena itself, that players are counted to be too close to each other, with all the running around in tunnels or even waiting at arena.

Both should be in the rotation.

I definatly like the close quarter combat on forest arena in the tunnels.

And Sandstorm is a nice map simply.

sandstorm is fine, and forest arena is a very good map there is nohing wrong with it, all that needs to be changed on forest arena is maybe block off some of the tunnels because it can delay if we are looking for enemies in those tunnels.

Forrest Arena should be removed for the same reasons as Sandorra posted. Sandstorm seems fine, somehow managed to vote on the wrong option so please don't mind my vote about Sandstorm.

The most ppl have problems with Forest arena. Most of the ppl are just running through the tunnels and then they are starting to waste time. Forest arena is just not made for battle its better to move it to the duel server and make it like the main map of duel. To make it better for battle the tunnels should be removed and the field should be bigger.

Sandstorm is too much of an archer fest for me, I just leave whenever it comes up :o. Forest arena is an awesome map though! :D

sandstorm in terms of geography and gameplay, is just the same as the desert river map (without a river obviously)...

 

If forest arena was made a little bigger and the tunnels made less complex, it would be beast

I like both but like wang said the tunnel system in Forest Arena is a bit too complex, should be a little smaller imo

I don't think they mean too complex, it is just a bit too big, the tunnels are really long and people end up running in circles around the map trying to find each other as there is no line of sight once you are inside.

Personally I like both maps, sandstorm especially is good, and want them to stay.

Now the rooms and tunnels are very close to the arena and they cannot be placed under the ground. That's why the tunnels are a bit too long. It's not like I can choose any length I want and I don't see how to make them shorter.

How about replacing the arena floor with arabian_ground_a? Then the tunnels could go underneath that, and be shorter. It might need to be scaled a bit to fit the arena, tho.
