Eastern Chichak Helmet

Hello.I am an amateur 3D , 2D artist and I would like see some eastern helmets or gears in the mod. There are alot of Turk' players who wants to wear some eastern armor.I know there are already some sarranid gear but those are old. Im sure many other people will love new stuff. I made a chichak helmet for practicing modelling. If you want , I can increase the resolution and make it look more clean. It is Narf's OSP metal texture ,I think it will fit in with the other models. Chainmail is not complete I will fix it.

Looks cool, but really Mercenaries would be based on Medieval Europe, not the East, Japan, 'Murica. Just Europe bar one or two things (Sarranid equipment and strange sword).

Cool helmet still!

Thank you.I think europeans do use eastern helmets. Btw its an ottoman helmet .Its kinda close to europe :P

Europe and parts of Middle-East, as Sarranids are a faction and crusades and stuff happened.

Yeah, we'll have to say Turkey counts then.. Else Koray will be jealous :s

Who gives a shit about Koray anyway?

But yeah, c00l looking helmet, need more mosellim derps in the server instead of "ninja kilers of deth".

There are alot of muslim players...

wat?

lol I mean me and my turkish friends.

The Turks I suppose.

Well done that is a good shot at modeling. Homer shouldn't be afraid to try out some modelers especially considering complete lack of new OSP packs being released over the last year. That helmet does not even look out of place in my opinion with some of the vaegir stuff and sarranid armours. If you are serious about modeling you should PM Homer and he will maybe let you make some assets for the mod.

 'Murica.

i guess you're referring to native american indians

on a more serious note, turks invaded europe (thing that neither japan or american natives ever made) so why not adding that

We have already passed that.

Yeah, we'll have to say Turkey counts then..

Neme why don't you experiment with using the chainmail neck from Narf's kettle hats. I think Homer successfully used it on some of the other helmets to make the necks work a lot better with some of the armours such as the fluted pot helm and reinforced pot helm. It might look pretty good.

great idea , already did :) http://i.imgur.com/8JqtK5j.png . Edited topic*

Maybe make it so it's essentially two separate helmets, you can upgrade it with the system Homer implemented to add the coif for those who prefer. Just adds a bit more diversity when adding items, furthermore I want to see more of the Ottoman armors/helmet since this Empire as a whole fascinates me.
